Cultural and Linguistic Competence Policy Assessment (CLCPA)

This cultural competence assessment tool is designed to examine organizational cultural and linguistic competence within four dimensions: values, policy, structure, and practice. As a self-assessment instrument, this tool can be administered to staff at all levels of an organization in order to begin thinking about how to change the values, policies, structures and practices within an organization. The National Center for Cultural Competence has developed a separate guide that provides step-by-step instructions for how to conduct an organizational self-assessment using the CLCPA.
