This training DVD developed by the Scotland Government was created in order to train front line staff on how to gather data on race, ethnicity and language. The 42 minute DVD features scenarios focusing on how front line staff can more effectively interact with diverse patients to collect data. This DVD, though it has a focus on Scotland, is useful for any American health care organization working with diverse patients, and wishing to collect data from patients in a respectful and effective manner. A training manual and a handbook for trainees is also be available online.
